The Genie SilentMax 1200 is another 3/4 h.p. belt drive opener with a D/C motor. As with all openers in this class, it is quiet and smooth, and plenty strong for just about any door.
The installation is pretty easy. Genie safety eyes are “non-polar”, meaning that you can attach the two wires to the safety eyes in any order, as long as there is one wire connected to each terminal. This can make for a less frustrating installation than with Chamberlain products when you are connecting to existing wiring.
